Presidential Remarks 36th Annual Conference & Business Meeting

Hello all,

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey, Inc. and conference committee co-chairs Mary Jane Rogers and Kenneth Cieslak, I would like to welcome you to the 36th Annual Conference and Business Meeting.  With the review and collaboration of the professional education committee, we have lined up a diverse and dynamic educational meeting for 2022. We are thrilled to be in person again and hope we can encourage networking and professional engagement.

This year’s conference will offer a total of seven continuing education units, all qualified for the newly revised Category A credits. We are pleased to cover such topics on musculoskeletal injuries, concussion management, interprofessional collaborations, and Chinese traditional medicine to name a few.  The student program is also full of promise and guidance for the future of our profession’s students.

As always, our conference would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Please make a point to utilize their services and products while visiting the exhibit hall. Their support and financial investment in our organization have been vital in its success.

I would also like to acknowledge our conference committee members, Kenneth Cieslak, Mary Jane Rogers, Rob Sterner, Steve Barandica, Karen Manista, Dan Evans, Ashley DeSousa, Natalie Pytlowany, Jaclyn Morrissette, and Joe Friedrich, for their dedication and efforts.

Yours respectfully,

Jessica Springstead, Ed.D., ATC
President, The Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey, Inc.
