Each year the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association holds an annual educational convention where on average, 1500 athletic trainers, athletic training students and other healthcare providers, come together to hear leaders in their field speak on a variety of healthcare topics. Topics range from concussion and illnesses to orthopedic injuries and emergency management. Subject areas fall within the Board of Certification's current Practice Analysis. At the convention banquet, the EATA Executive Board recognizes all award, student scholarship and research grant winners.
