Objectives

  1. Attendees will understand the most recent recommendations from the American College of Cardiology on screening the heart post-COVID infection, and its implications for RTP.
  2. Examine the literature as it relates to common manifestations in both the pulmonary and vascular systems as a result of COVID-19 infection, and its implications for screening and RTP.
  3. Reflect upon the protocols and mitigation strategies implemented in the NFL for COVID.
  4. Attendees will understand the value of contact tracing protocols in the environment of team sports.
  5. Reflect on strategies for management with prolonged “long hauler” patients/athletes post infection.
