Celebrating the 34th Anniversary of the Athletic Trainers’ Society of New Jersey Annual Conference and Business Meeting, the ATSNJ was once again proud to present an exciting education program to attendees.
The Conference Committee, in conjunction with the six New Jersey Schools that offer an Athletic Training education program – Rowan University, William Paterson, Monmouth University, Seton Hall, Kean University, and Montclair State University developed a dynamic and vital program based on our members’ needs in the professional athletic training field. In addition, we will have an exciting student program for this important sector of our membership and the future of athletic training in our state.
The Annual Awards Program will recognize and honor athletic trainers and promising students who have stood out and excelled in their field over the past year.
We are pleased to have Dr. Jeff Konin, PhD, PT, ATC, FACSM, FNATA, as our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Konin serves as Professor and Chair of the Physical Therapy Department at The University of Rhode Island. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of Athletics at Eastern Connecticut State University, in Willimantic, Connecticut, was a faculty member and Vice Chair of Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, FL, where he also served as the Executive Director of the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma (SMART) Institute, and the Director of the Graduate Athletic Training Program.
In addition to the regular conference, 2020 is our eleventh year hosting the ATSNJ Athletic Training Student Conference. This program coincides with the main conference, allowing an excellent opportunity for the interaction of current members with future practitioners of athletic training professionals.

We will be distributing your CEU certificates via email. The CEU certificate for the general sessions will be sent within a few days of the conference completion. After attending one of the EBP sessions, you will be sent an evaluation that you must complete. It is imperative that you complete this evaluation by March 15th. Once we receive your completed evaluation and verify your attendance to that EBP session, your CEU certificate will be emailed to you.
