Celebrating the 33rd Anniversary of this society's Annual Conference & Business Meeting, the Athletic Trainers Society of New Jersey was once again proud to present an exciting educational program to the attendees. The conference committee, in conjunction with the Rowan University Athletic Training Education Program, was excited to bring you a state of the art conference located in central New Jersey at the DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset Hotel and Conference Center, Held over two days, we were offering more continuing educational credits - 7.5 CEU total - for the same price as a one day conference.
This year we were honored to have Dr. Doug Casa, PhD, ATC, as our Keynote Speaker. Dr. Casa is the Chief Executive Officer of the Korey Stringer Institute.
In addition to the regular conference, this marked the tenth year hosting the ATSNJ Athletic Training Student Conference. This year the program coincided with the main conference, allowing an excellent opportunity for the interaction of current members with many of the future practitioners of athletic training.
As always, this event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We hope you had the opportunity to interact with our exhibitors and view the various products being offered. Additionally, you are highly encouraged to visit the sponsor page contained within this compendium for special offers and direct links to their websites.
This year, we will be distributing your CEU certificates via email. The CEU certificate for the general sessions will be sent within a few days of the conference completion. After attending one of the EBP sessions, you will be sent an evaluation that you must complete. It is imperative that you complete this evaluation by March 15th. Once we verify the completion of the evaluation as well as your attendance at that EBP session, your CEU certificate will also be emailed to you. Thank you for your patience as we make the changeover to a paperless CEU system.
Please take the time to review the committee reports, prior to the Business Meeting if possible. They can be accessed on the 2019 Committee Report. Please note, you must be logged into the website to view this page.
