The Athletic Trainer's  Society of New Jersey, Inc. has named an undergraduate and professional study program for Richard Malacrea, honoring an outstanding student from the ATSNJ, Inc. membership, who has excelled academically and as an athletic training student.  The award is meant to encourage the recipient to continue his/her education toward a baccalaureate degree.

Each ATSNJ, Inc. Certified Athletic Trainer supervisor is asked to nominate not more than one candidate for this award.  In presenting the candidate, the ATC must forward forms completed by the Student, the Team Physician or an Academic Professor, the Head of the Department or Dean of the College, and the ATC supervisor.

The Certified Athletic Trainer supervisor should see that all forms are completed (typed) and forwarded in one package, with an official transcript of the candidate's academic record, to the Chair of the ATSNJ Inc.  Scholarship Committee at the address listed above.

The ATSNJ, Inc. Honors and Awards Committee will screen the candidate and announce its selections to the ATSNJ, Inc. membership at the annual meeting.
