Hall of Fame - William Battershall ATC

 

Inducted 1998

William H. Battershall was inducted into the ATSNJ Hall of Fame in March 1998. His accomplishments were many. In 1976 he was a Charter Member of the New Jersey Athletic Trainers' Association (NJATS) and President of NJATS from 1981-1983. Bill was the Northern Representative of ATSNJ, Inc. from 1979-1980 and has been on the NATABOC Committee from 1980 to the present. He was a NATA 25 Year Award winner in 1989. He also won the ATSNJ, Inc. Distinguished Service Award in 1991 and the NATA Board of Certification Service Award in 1995. Bill was inducted into the Saint Peter's College Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 and the Essex Catholic High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990. Bill was the Athletic Trainer for the Open Golf Championship in 1980.
